It's all too easy to go overboard with toys for babies, especially for a shopping junkie like me.
In that respect, it's lucky that we live in an apartment and due to space restrictions, we do not have mountains of toys for BuBba. Don't get me wrong, I don't make the poor boy sit and stare at a wall all day for fun - he still has two baskets full of toys but we're just more selective of what we buy for him.
Currently Huggies have a brilliant promotion running. Collect a truckload of barcodes, send them in (along with postage costs) and then voila! These little babies will be yours...
I'm pretty sure BuBba will be stoked when Mr Postman delivers these.
What a cool idea! We live in an apartment too and we have to be so selective about what we buy. Foodstuffs however are exempt from this rule ;)
ReplyDeleteOhhh i know what you mean with going overboard with the toy shopping.
ReplyDeleteWhen i go gift shopping for kids there is soooo much cute stuff out there i can never choose!!
It's all colourful and cute and then u think of how excited they'll get when you give it to them. ahhhh
and then when i see all the cute little baby clothes its all over.
i dont even have a kid yet so im scared of what will happen when i do.
luckily i'm like you in the space department so hopefully that will put me off from buying too much cute baby stuff!
thanks for visiting my blog btw!
your pale blue and silver click clack sounds so sweet.
that colour combo would look great!
wow Huggies have really stepped up the bar since the days of barcodes for pop up tents! :) . I know what you mean about toys. I told family early on the toy themes that we were aiming for..so we have a huge collection of Little People, Peek-a-blocks and Thomas from the last 6 years :p although other toys creep in to until they seem to overtake every area you look *sigh*
